Ciao tutti!
The poem below and the title of this blog refer to an Italian Ring Around the Rosey, but with much nicer words. Youtube it and you'll find some very cute little kids. "Giro, giro tondo" means "turn, turn around". Well, I am already packed, and as usual, am two weeks too early. But Christmas is a few days away! The Christmas spirit, that childish enthusiasm, both have stayed with me. Solstice has made every day brighter and brighter. I will be in Italy for the Epiphany, which is apparently the larger holiday. So I'm hoping for two Christmases!! Er, rather, to explore Italian culture in relation to the holidays.
